Re-Zoning Process
Prior to the public hearing process several meetings with different departments of the Lake County staff were held to discuss the re-zoning of the property. After 20+ months of discussions everything was finally in place to begin the formal rezoning application. Below is the list of the public hearings. Needless to say, this was quite a grueling process. The hard work is now done. The County is optimistically awaiting a commercial development plan that fits the approved criteria. The development flowchart details the process.
